Dennis thanks for some background on this boat. I Love it and the way it rides and handles, what all setups have been on this rig?

Little update on the Procomp, Seen 117.6 mph GPS last week taching 8250 on the water and I know it's got more. I am having a slight issue, without extra weight in the middle of the boat(was on a service call with 60lbs of tools) it wants to start porpoising uncontrollable almost every time. Not just at 70-80mph it's from 25-104mph(when I lifted). But with the extra weight it's very controlable. I'm running a Merc lab Lighnting ET 14 1/2 x 30. Any ideas? Maybe engine set to high? Boat not balanced?

I know a little bit, I was told it when denis vittallo owned this boat 125 to 130 was what it did everytime out. I wish I knew more history on this boat. I was looking around and it seems that most pro comps are 4 seaters, this one is single center steer. The rear race fairing on it weights like5 pounds. I also got a rear fairing with a seat (2 small ppl could fit) made of fiberglass that I would guess would weigh around 100#. I do know I love it.
