  1. TRIAD EURO

Kevin, Why would you want to sell or trade a boat like this? these just don't come along that often. Roger
  2. Ron Hill version with big open blades, hopefully enought to get the bow up in the air a little more. I'm running 8 inch set back and that may not be enough but we'll see in a few weeks. How about you? Roger
  3. Chummy, Hit 94 last summer but I have a new Hoss 28 pitch prop. Looking forward to seeing what it wil do. Cheers dude Roger
  4. My Dad owns this one.. Its in Wisconsin. He is a member here (V21Triad) and check out his post.. http://www.stvowners.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=891 Post #7 My son just called and told me about your question. Yep I have the Blue open bow Triad. It's number S/N 2005 made in 2000. I love it, just last spring I had Tradewinds Marine install a new 2005 stock 280 ss on the boat. I'm still playing with props after putting 8 inches of set back on it. It's starting to fly like I expected and I running the mid 90's now with a 30 pitch Masco. I'm sure if I get a few things done to the motor and 320 hp along with a 32 pitch that my three digit goal will be reached. I had attached a current picture. Cheers Roger
  5. Welcome Jon Graff

Jon, Hope to see some great pictures when that machine gets up and running. It was good to see you again at Randy's. I never get tired talking about boats and we had some good discussions. Cheers Roger
  6. Welcome

John, Do you have any pictures of your motor? I though you had some. Does the motor have a horn on it? by the way my V21 is at Gary's right now and going to Randy's shop in a day or two. If you get a chance stop by. If not, I'm going up there maybe later next week to pick it up, provided it's done. Tis the season don't you kow. ← John, the boat was away for abotu two weeks, at Gary Lee's. but as of yeaterday my V21 is down by RP. this may give you a window to stop. My guess is RP will be done with it by early next week, then it's my turn finally. ← John, the boat is still there, were you able to stop by yet? If not I'll take some new pictures and place them on the site or email you later.

  9. Welcome

John, My V21 is up by Randy and he is doing his magic. I went with the original cowling with white/blue lettering. It looks pretty good. Randy sent it up to Gary Lee's for some other work should be back in a few days. check with Randy and maybe you can stop by for a quick peek. Soon very soon.
  10. Let's see them Triads

John, What did you hear about Balz event?? It was quite fun last year. But I can understand Mike wanting to take a year off. Hey, Maybe we should start a GPI rally. since you closer to Randy than I am, can you ask him? If not I'll mention something on the 29th. The general public always asks the speed question but when you place the HP on the motor they ask it much quicker. When people see the 225 Pro Max they then quickly ask the speed question. I thin it gives them a point of reference to what they may have. When I had the 225 Promax on my old boat, without any external markings the question rarely came up. Would appreciate any pictures of your motor. Thanks John

I am planning on going to Blaz again this summer. In fact I sent Mike an email asking when the outing might occur. Haven't heard anything yet but I guess it's late in July close to last years event. John, I had a blue and white labels and Mercury in blue color on my previous 225 Promax, while it was pretty neat and it matched the fish & ski I had, it just didn't have any "snap" and many people looked at it and you could see theie question. What is that and what is the HP. Some took the time to ask others just walked away. People who don't know about preformance cannot figure it out. I still have not figured it out yet. But right now I think it will be a variation of yours to some degree. Do you have any close up pictures of the cowling?
  12. Let's see them Triads

Chummy, I'm located in Northern Illinois, but grew up in Southern Wisconsin. Packers Fan from the get go, but I like the Cubs as well. How about yourself. How does that 280 move the Triad? Cheers Roger
  13. Let's see them Triads

John, Yep I going to get the Alien and I like your decals. since my boat is Royal Blue I think the same decal configuration would be great. Other then Mercury what else do you have on the outside? 2.5 and EFI I'm sure but anything else? chummy, Nice boat as well, I always liked the Mercury colors, gives your boat some "snap". Any Triad is a nice boat. cheers Roger
  14. Let's see them Triads

John, Thanks for the kind words, but I just cannot wait until I get the GPI rework. RP says it will function exactly like yours. Should be a great summer. Yep Packers are going to be a very different team this coming year. I suspect the Vikes will be different as well, without the big Receiver, maybe better. I like the cowling you have as well on that big bad motor. Cheers Roger
  15. Let's see them Triads

I guess I'll be the first Malibu open bow V21 Triad on the site. Great boat and we enjoy them. cheers Roger
