I am booked. looks like Mark is coming with the yellow rocket as well.

Any one have a small prop (22-25) that I can borrow for few drag runs? If I hurt it I will buy it.

... you'd better be looking for a 20"-22" MAX !!! 700' I'm sure I can get ya a prop or two to use. More than a 22" at 700' your already on the trailer.

Can't make it...got to get the new race engine ready. I'm still leading points in two classes. And the modified 280 needs to go together.

Also - beer is for beginners or as an appetizer. Let me know when you are ready for Kentucky BOURBON, I will have plenty in Jasper.

You should come, give the pro guys a break from Wayne KAAA BOOM Tripp.

What you neglected to say was that YOUR beer is for beginners, OUR beer is much stronger, Kinda like OUR Canadain RYE. I bought some burbon at Jasper, I cleaned the shipping oil of my pistons with it, I wouldn't waist the good stuff.

Come on Wayne......we don't have a race that weekend. Sounds like fun. Rob, me and Greg are planning on coming as long as I can get away from the farm that long. Just curious.....why 700 ft???? I'll probably just watch the drags and run the top end deal. What would you need for a course that short??? a 22???? Anyone remember how far we ran last year??? I'm sure it was farther than that. I am seriously thinking about going, but it will be a last minute decision.

700 feet?!!! Is this some kind of joke? That is BARELY over an 1/8 mile....I guess I will need the 20p Yamaha.

OR a 24p if I can get the N2O kit back on in time. I am still trying to order some stainless nozzels.

Dixon - How is the irrigation coming along? My guess is that "DENNIS" will help you out a bit, I KNOW it will do so here - just like "Cindy" did. And MY tank has a vent tube... wink.gif Have you gotten one on yours yet?

It seems to me that the track is more like 900-1000 feet. I don;t think they measure it.

Wayne, pull up your diapers and commit...... I know Canadian beer is big strong and tuff, but I am sure you will be able to drink at least 2 or 3 before they get the better of you, If need be we will get our girls to show you the ropes!.

Mike, I sure hope you can make it I have a spare vent for your fuel tank, I understand yours is MIA. ohmy.gif

Diapers?...I should have been committed a long time ago - or so I am told.

You wouldn't know "fast" if it sprayed you with prop wash. And "quick" is something beyond your comprehension. As far as I have been able to tell, you have others do your driving AND drinking. Stick with restoring boats.

The last can of Keith's I looked at had the same amount of alcohol that our stuff has - and a lot less than my homebrew or the local micro-breweries make.

The last time you brought a GIRL down to do your drinking for you, she fell suspiciously "sick" at the last moment.

Beer is an appetizer, men DRINK Kentucky bourbon....I would expect even a CANADIAN to know that. Perhaps the men in Canada don't live near the socialist cities (or work for the TSE). wink.gif

Don't take this as a jab at our northern brothers, I am just pokin' at Rob - with a sharp stick.

Good thing I have that kevlar suit on, sharp sticks just feel like a little tap. The only thing I have that is fast or quick is my ability to break stuff, something that Wayne KABOO Tripp is learning.

You are correct, your US brewed version has the same alcohol content. Our light beer is the same as US "real" beer ( and I use both the words real and beer lightly when refuring to your canned water ).

Our girl, has a little bit of buffet food poisoning....... or she was sick of men talking about port height and learning from the master on how to balance your rotating assembly.

While, I will give you credit for your kentucky burbon.......( note that the rumble is in kentucy and you can restock ), it does make a great solvent, with a pleasing smell, it sure isn't 150 proof Canadian RYE.

As for socialists........ that poke hurt, not to worry I called the ACLU on ya.

Rob, you are definitely right about the sick of listening to men talk part .... you must understand it does get slightly boring, all that mumbo jumbo, actually never mind, you would never understand that....

No worries Wayne, I won't be sick this year..... definitely looking forward to it!!

Sweetie,

Good to hear that you will be in Jasper again this year. SOMEBODY needs to make those other two look good. wink.gif

Everyone else - Despite what you may think from reading the posts here, Rob and I are good friends...the jabs are just for fun. Even if he can only handle beer.

The reason for the 700' course is too keep it more fan friendly and to keep the speeds down. This is not a full blown race facility , its the Ohio river and it can get to be rolling. Last year it was 850'. Its not going to be an ODBA event and thats good !!!! Its supposed to be the Rumble on the River. The short course also does give the smaller HP guys some chance.

Tony was talking about letting the rest of the "Grudge-Match" drag races run like 900' or so .... maybe he can be talked into having the whole course for both days run at 800' or so but I don't think so.

I just know that he wants to keep this boating weekend alive and wants to keep the speeds for the Drag race portion of the event down.

Fell free to give Tony a call on any questions. He is a very easy going guy and allways likes the input from people who go to ( or will be going to ) his event.

I just know that I havent missed a Rumble yet and have seen it grow to be the most fun you could have for 2-4 days with HP outboard boats involved.

W.Tripp .... seems like USA might need a little help for the drinking portion of the weekend. The team is looking a little soft tongue.gif

Wayne, If we go, me and Greg will help with the drinking. As long as I can drink beer......We can be professional drinkers......alcoholics go to meetings and AA is for quitters. Dixon
